Domaine La Bouscade Chardonnay 2006, Vin de Pays d’Oc
This
is a modern style Chardonnay of exceptional grace. Grown on the
higher, cooler, north facing slopes, which preserve the fresh
fruit flavours. The grapes were hand-picked, followed by berry
selection, whole berry pressing and fermentation in oak
barriques. Citrus and tropical fruit flavours with a seductive

Syrah Grenache Rosé 2006, AOC Minervois

A
vivid and contemporary rosé, very vivacious. Cool fermentation
in oak and careful handling, in the absence of air, has
preserved the strawberries and cream, cherries and vanilla
characteristics, with a subtle oak finish.

"The nose is a summer fruit
cocktail of raspberries and cherries with a hint of thyme, and a
real lightness of touch that dances across the tongue. Ripe,
with a beautiful balance, crisp acidity and layers of flavour
this is a wine that combines a serious structure with a playful
personality. At ease equally in “jeans” as an aperitif with
friends, or in a "tux” at more formal dinner occasions. Another
winner from this impressive family run estate."
Matthew Stubbs, Master of Wine.
* La Bouscade Late
Harvest 2006, Vin de Pays d’Oc (50cl)

Luscious
and honeyed; an intensely sweet wine. Ideal climatic conditions
resulted in ‘noble rot’ and great concentration of our
Vermentino and Macabéo berries. Cool, slow fermentation in new
oak barrels has enhanced the characters of apricot, marmalade
and grapefruit zest. Ideal with puddings or with foie gras and
certain cheeses.
