from our 60 year old Carignan vines. Hand-picked with further
berry selection in the winery. Matured in oak barriques. A vivid
crimson in colour. Intensely fruity with black cherry, plum and
white chocolate. Hints of smoky oak on the finish.

blend of the Minervois;
Grenache,
Syrah,
Mourvèdre.
The three varieties complement each other to produce this
elegant wine. Cool fermented with subtle oak ageing. Hints of

Winemakers selection: The ‘best of the
best’ from our vineyards.
Hand picked, berry selection, vinification
with no expense spared. Each year the wine selected for the QED
may change - in 2005 was a particularly good year for Mourvèdre.
Matured for 18 months in French Oak.
Bottled without filtration to preserve the aromas of violet and
mulberry, coffee and garrigue.
Awards 2005: 'Best in Class' and Silver,
International Wine and Spirit Competition 2008.
